Progressive Fitness has been a locally owned business since 1992 in Sherwood with David and Tammy Allen as gym owners. It’s also really exciting to say that David has retained many of his clients since the beginning of his business. He employs a very skilled staff all trained in the

David draws his expertise from many distinct and diverse disciplines which allow him insight and knowledge beyond the scope of most trainers. David enjoys various activities including martial arts (black belt), racquetball, mountain biking, golf, and running.

Tammy enjoys participating in races such as the Portland to Coast, Hood to Coast, and the Portland Marathon. She has also backpacked around Mount Hood, Mount Rainier, the Wallalas, and Mount Adams. She enjoys spending time with her family, playing golf, and lifting weights.

Michele has a lifelong commitment to health, fitness, and nutrition. Michele received her certification as an Egoscue Trainer 10 years ago to diversify her personal training experience. She has a varied fitness background as a bodybuilder, martial artist, golfer, and distance runner. She currently enjoys golf, skiing, weight training, and spending time with her family. Michele has been actively involved with Progressive Fitness for over 14 years.

Lisa Kaus
FITNESS ADVISOR
Lisa has been with Progressive Fitness since 2012.
Lisa brings a nurturing, creative spirit to Progressive Fitness. Lisa works as lead trainers David Allen’s assistant. Lisa guides clients through personal training menus, works one on one with individuals, and leads group fitness classes. Over the last, 11 years, Lisa has been actively involved in her own personal fitness journey. In that time she has participated in numerous running and cycling events in the local Portland area.
Lisa would love to help you achieve your wellness and fitness goals.

Ricardo Gonzalez
FITNESS ADVISOR
Ricardo is a fitness enthusiast that has been lifting weights since age 11. He has participated in many sports: long distance running, soccer, wrestling and football to name a few. His favorite activities include bodybuilding, cardio exercise and going for walks with his family. He enjoys reading about the science of fitness and keeps up with the latest trends. Sharing knowledge with his clients gives him a great sense of purpose and is a fundamental part of his training approach. His short term fitness goal is to get into shape and compete in amateur bodybuilding show.
